Topic:

I’d like to create a faux dog adoption website. The website will allow customers to select their specific, desired specifications and find the listed dogs.

Audience:

My intended audience is prospective dog owners. These would be adults, or adults with families that are looking for a pet.

Design and Style:

Color scheme:

I want to maintain a darker palette and a simple design so that users are not overwhelmed when selecting what pet they want. I’m going to use darker colors to maintain focus on the images I use.

Scope:

In total, there will be 3 pages: a primary About/Home page with a putton that reads "Start adopting!", a sign-in page that "Start adopting!" leads users into and requires users to be of eighteen years old or older, as well as a final adoption page with a confirmation pop-up at the top.

Database:

The dogs available for adoption will be the data stored in the database. I plan to accumulate my own database of about thirty dogs from sites listing dogs in the Los Angeles area.
