a08: final project proposal

topic: i have two ideas: a to-do website where people can add, edit, delete, and search up existing to-do tasks OR a depop-inspired "gracepop" website where users can add their items to sell, edit listings, etc.

audience: definitely a younger audience, one who prefers simplicity and easy accessibility for making their tasks / selling their items.

design:

  1. for my to-do website: very simple design with two buttons on the home page (add a task & search your tasks). gracepop site will have a very simple homepage listing some example listings below two buttons that will state "sell your item" or "search for items"
  2. color palette for both websites: #0D1B2A, #E0E1DD, #778DA9 (cool, simple, n classy)
  3. websites that inspired me: depop, blankslate, & notion

scope:

  1. five pages for each site (home page, add page, details page, edit page, delete page)

database:

  1. data stored for my to-do page: task name, priority, type of task (work, school, etc) due date (or time sensitive option), details
  2. data stored for my gracepop page: name of item, price, item descrip, date posted, trade or purchase?, type of item (vintage, clothing, jewelry)
  3. source of data will be from my cpanel page, i can populate my database with ~30 items or 10 existing tasks
