The website will be a rental platform specializing in dresses, offering users the ability to both rent dresses from a diverse collection and list their own dresses for rental.

Intended Audience

The website caters to women and young adults in the USA, providing them with a platform to rent or list dresses for rental, offering a convenient and diverse selection for various occasions.

Design & Style

The website features a simple and chic style, ensuring an elegant and streamlined user experience for browsing, renting, and listing dresses.

Color Scheme

The color combination of the website will exude a chic vibe, utilizing soft, light pinks alongside deep blues and turquoises to create a visually appealing and sophisticated aesthetic.

Scope

For the rent-a-dress website, I'm planning to have around 5 pages

• Homepage: This page will introduce users to the website and showcase featured dresses or special offers.
• Dress Listings: A page where users can browse through available dresses for rent, filter them based on various criteria, and view detailed information about each dress.
• Individual Dress Page: Dedicated pages for each dress listing, displaying detailed information, photos, rental rates, and availability.
• Checkout Page: A page where users can enter their card to rent
• Add a Listing Page: This page will provide a form for users to submit their listing.

Database

In the database for the rent-a-dress website, the following data will be stored:

• User Information: Including usernames, passwords (hashed), email addresses, and any additional profile details users provide.
• Dress Listings: Details about each dress, such as dress name, description, size, color, rental price, availability status, and associated images.
• Rental Transactions: Records of rental transactions, including which user rented which dress, rental duration, rental dates, and any additional fees or discounts applied.

I will use a clothing database from Kaggle.com to start and then users can also add. Possibly this Clothing Database
